You can right click any of the pages and choose "set as default printer" if you want to print directly from that page. If it is just one page, you could just print that page. It is not really possible to tell if the job is done in X hours from the page you were viewing or not. The job is complete as soon as the printer receives the data and prints. But you can monitor the status using the "PrintMonitor" program (no I don't know of a way to tell if there is something wrong with the printer). You will probably want to add the printer for this to the Windows "Start menu" (click on the Windows logo on the left, then click on the start menu). A: I would suggest using the command line to print something simple, such as a web page to a test printer. The following would work from the command line: @echo off for /L %%i in (1,1,50) do ( start ) If the print job stops working then you might try using spooler. Here is a simplified example. The important thing is that the 'Test Print' command uses the same printer that the print job is going to be using. set printer=Test Printer set job=Test Print for /L %%i in (1,1,10) do ( start "" "%printer%" "%job%" But, do beware that, as the Microsoft doco warns, the behavior can change between Windows Server versions. e t h r m a i n d w 1 8 9 s v b y 7 5 .
